It would not be Tuesday, without a visit to the Cash & Carry Farmers Market and what a great day to begin the fall season. The market has fresh produce, homemade goods and great company with an indoor setting. The Cash & Carry Farmers Market is open from 4pm to 6pm, located at the intersection of Enterprise and Broad Streets.

If you’re up for an adventure, the Arts & Humanities Council of Southwest Louisiana will present the annual Gallery Promenade from 5:00-9:00 PM. The event utilizes numerous galleries and local businesses that support the local art scene. Downtown Lake Charles, McNeese State University’s campus and districts of Sulphur are all included in the promenade route.
