GPS Hospitality Hosts Scratch-Off Contest from April 17 to April 30
With GPS Hospitality’s recent acquisition of Lake Charles’ BURGER KING® restaurants, the fast-growing franchisee group is celebrating the occasion by welcoming guests to experience the difference with a “winning” proposition.
Starting today, guests are invited to stop by for a chance to win WHOPPER Sandwiches for a year! Participating locations will have scratch-and-win cards while supplies last.
“We welcome Lake Charles residents to stop by our restaurants and experience the difference of GPS’ philosophy of exceptional service,” CEO Tom Garrett said. “Over the past few months, we’ve been focused on training our employees to our high service standards, as well as hiring additional team members to enable us to provide a faster and friendlier experience. We are truly excited about our recent expansion in Louisiana and hope our guests feel the same.”
In December 2016, GPS Hospitality purchased 194 restaurants across the Southeast, including 14 in the Lake Charles area employing nearly 380 local managers and crew members. Since then, the company has begun the process of training existing and new team members, repaving parking lots, painting, landscaping and identifying future restaurants in need of remodeling. For Lake Charles residents, the BURGER KING restaurant on 801 Sampson Street in Westlake will be remodeled later this year.
“Guests will notice the difference as soon as they walk in,” said Reggie Thomas, the Lake Charles director of operations for GPS Hospitality. “From top to bottom, guests will see the remodeling efforts from the outside, such as new flowerbeds, to the inside with faster service and more smiles. Lake area residents, we are ready for you to stop by, enjoy your meal and play the scratch-and-win game in the hopes of winning WHOPPER Sandwiches for a year.”
No purchase is necessary to participate. One scratch card is available per guest per day. Cards will be available through April 30 (while supplies last). Grand prize winners of WHOPPER Sandwiches for a year must be claimed by Dec. 6, 2017. GPS Hospitality employees are not allowed to participate in the contest. The contest is co-sponsored by Coca-Cola Co.
