CHRISTUS St. Patrick Foundation’s Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) program recently honored local Walmart and Sam’s Club associates for their more than $2 million in donations over 30 years of giving with a plaque dedication and blessing ceremony. The plaque is located on the second floor of the hospital in the Day Surgery waiting area.
As a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals National Partner, Walmart and Sam’s Club have been raising funds in their stores for CHRISTUS St. Patrick Foundation’s Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) program for over 30 years. All of the funds raised for CMN in Southwest Louisiana are used to fund in-hospital and school-based initiatives benefitting the children of Southwest Louisiana. Guests at the Dedication and Blessing Ceremony included sisters from one of CHRISTUS Health’s sponsoring congregations, the Congregation of Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, CHRISTUS St. Patrick Foundation Board Members and CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital executives, physicians and nursing staff.
This is CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital’s 30th year as a CMN Hospital, and Walmart and Sam’s Club have collaborated with the hospital since the program’s inception in our area to improve the lives of the kids of Southwest Louisiana.
