Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana received a generous donation of $5,000 from Entergy Louisiana who formed a corporate partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana just last year. All the funds donated are invested locally into the mentoring programs run by BBBS-SWLA that impact children and families in the Southwest Louisiana community.
As a corporate Match Maker sponsor, Entergy Louisiana was recognized at both Bowl For Kids’ Sake, on Saturday, May 5th, and will also be recognized at the annual BBBS-SWLA Fore Our Kids Golf Tournament, to be held on Friday, November 2nd. Bowl For Kids’ Sake is the largest annual fundraiser for BBBS-SWLA.The community raises tens of thousands of dollars that allow BBBS-SWLA to continue to serve the children of Southwest Louisiana community.
