Glow into 2026 Lake Charles New Year’s Eve Celebration

The City of Lake Charles invites the community to ring in the New Year with an unforgettable night of music, lights, and immersive experiences. Glow into 2026 is a free New Year’s Eve celebration happening on Wednesday, December 31, from 8:00 PM to midnight in Downtown Lake Charles along Pujo Street and the surrounding area.

The event will feature live performances from LeTrainiump, New Orleans’ own indie pop singer/songwriter, and The Good Dudes, a Rock ’n’ Soul/Pop/Blues band. DJ Secret Stache will keep the party going and lead the crowd into the official countdown to 2026.

Attendees can look forward to an evening full of live music and DJ performances, food trucks, a glowing stilt walker, and an immersive glowing experience. At midnight, guests will enjoy a spectacular visual countdown projected onto City Hall using 3D projection technology, creating an immersive light experience as the community rings in the New Year together.

Parking is available throughout Downtown Lake Charles. If you park anywhere downtown, you will be within walking distance of the event area. Street closures will include Pujo Street from Ryan Street to Bilbo Street and Bilbo Street from Pujo Street to Broad Street.

Guests are encouraged to dress to theme and support downtown businesses while enjoying good music, good food, and good fun.

Glow into 2026 is free for attendees thanks to sponsorships provided by Laborde Earles Injury Lawyers, Deep South Productions, First Federal Bank of Louisiana, Pujo Street Cafe, The Royal, B1 Bank, and Fox 29. For more information, please contact the City of Lake Charles at [email protected]
