Virtual Into the Woods Writing Project
April 30 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Join me for the 12th monthly Into the Woods meeting at the pavilion at the very back of the park (near the trails). We are an outdoor writing group inspired by the idea of intentional living from Thoreau’s Walden. We’ll meet for 1 hr each month for 2 yrs and 2 months on the last Thursday of every month (adjusted for holidays or park closings). At the end of that period, we will hold a 2 day walking exhibit highlighting the effects of this project on the participants lives. Each month, I’ll provide a different writing prompt based on an aspect of Walden. We’ll use nature as our muse, develop writing muscles, and gain perspective on life in an informal, supportive environment that’s sure to help you gain focus on what’s important. No writing experience or public sharing of your writing is required.
*4:30-5:30: I will be at the park early setting up and taking questions and orders.
5:30-5:45: Writing Warmup & Prompt
5:45-6:15: Writing in the Park
6:15-6:30: Sharing insights over a cup of tea
