The City of Lake Charles is excited to introduce Truck Stop Tuesday, a brand-new monthly event bringing delicious food and community spirit to the downtown area. The first installment will take place on Tuesday, November 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the front plaza of Historic City Hall at 1001 Ryan Street.
Each month, Truck Stop Tuesday will feature a different local food truck, giving residents and visitors a chance to enjoy diverse flavors and support small businesses while spending time outdoors in the heart of Lake Charles. The featured truck for November is Mi Tierra, known for its authentic and flavorful dishes that are sure to be a hit with lunchtime crowds.
With cooler weather settling in, it’s the perfect opportunity to step away from the desk, take in some fresh air, and enjoy a relaxing and delicious lunch break.
The City plans for Truck Stop Tuesday to become a regular downtown tradition, taking place on the first Tuesday of every month. Each event will spotlight a new food truck, giving attendees plenty of reasons to return and try something new!
