Located throughout historic Central School, the annual Holiday Art Market will return December 8-10 with an array of fine and handmade items created by Louisiana artists, along with student arts and music performances, bakery treats, and a creative shopping experience.
Each year, a spotlight organization receives a portion of the proceeds from sales at Holiday Art Market. This year, donations will benefit MusicMakers2U, an organization devoted to providing area youth with access to musical instruments.
Times for this festive shopping event are as follows:
Friday, December 8 (3pm-7pm), Saturday December 9 (10am-5pm), and Sunday December 10 (12-5pm). Admission is free.
Participating vendors include: ADeLand Art, AKA Cosplay and Art, Cajun Moon Jewelry & Gifts, Danny Allain, Anita Ahrens Pottery, Art Associates of Lake Charles, Chub & Bub, GHI Jewelry, Glassical Creations, The Inkling Girl, Jim Ferguson Making a Scene, JM Jewelry Designs, KP Designs Artisan Jewelry, Le Jardin Familial, author Linda Todd, Nicole Surface Design & Illustration, Olive & Indigo, Peggy Borel, Pixel & Ink Creative, Sarah Bercier, Tracy LeMieux of The Art Factory, Wendy Boyett, and Wind & Sun Reflections.
The students of F.G. Bulber Youth Orchestra perform on Saturday from 10AM-12PM and Sunday from 1PM-3PM. MusicMakers2U presents a performance from Mickey Smith, Jr. on Sunday from 3PM-4PM, and all-girl trio “Foot in the Door” from 4PM-4:30PM.
