Dash Rip Rock Turns It Up at Panorama Music House

Louisiana Music Hall of Fame trio Dash Rip Rock brought its loud, guitar-driven rock and roll to Panorama Music House in downtown Lake Charles on Saturday, October 10.
Founder Bill Davis, with Wade Hymel and Izzy Grisoli rounded out the trio. Under the disco ball and the old Panorama sign, the band tore through a set of the country punk, garage rock and Southern rock it has been playing across the South for decades, and the crowd was up and dancing before long.
The show came in a big year for the band. Its latest album, A Song In Everyone, came out in January, produced by Drive-By Truckers bassist Bobby Matt Patton.
