The short version. The directory is free to read and mostly assembled from open data, so treat a listing as a starting point rather than gospel. Claim your business and you can correct it. Write reviews you actually mean. Tell us when something is wrong and we will fix it.
What a listing is
Listings are compiled rather than entered by hand, and are not verified one at a time. A listing is our best current understanding of a business, and it can be out of date, incomplete, or occasionally wrong. Phone before you drive.
A listing being here is not an endorsement, and the order results appear in is not a ranking of quality. Listings marked Enhanced or VIP Loyalty are on a paid plan. That is disclosed on the listing. A paid listing is shown ahead of unpaid ones in the lists it already appears in, and it does not buy a better review or a place in a search result it would not otherwise reach.
- Verified
- Someone proved they run the business and a moderator agreed. They maintain the details.
- Enhanced
- A verified owner on a paid plan: more photos, a cover photo, updates, and a follow button.
- VIP Loyalty
- Everything in Enhanced, plus deals and punch cards.
- Closed
- Reported closed and confirmed. The listing comes off the site.
Claiming a business
If you run a business here you can claim its listing. Tell us how you are connected to it and a moderator decides. Claim only a business you actually run; claiming one you do not is grounds for us removing your account.
Once verified you are responsible for what you publish there, that the details are accurate, that the photos are yours to use, and that any offer you post is one you will honour.
Reviews
Reviews are moderated. We remove ones that are abusive, contain personal information about someone, or are plainly not about a visit. We do not remove a review for being negative, and a business paying us does not change that. An owner can reply publicly, which is usually the better answer.
Paid plans and payment
A paid plan (Enhanced or VIP Loyalty) is a subscription, billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, and it renews until you cancel. Cancel any time from your dashboard; the plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and the listing then reverts to a free one. Paid features stop at that point: photos beyond the free allowance are hidden, not deleted, and deals and punch cards are paused.
Corrections
Every listing has a report link, and it works without an account. Tell us a place has closed, moved, or has the wrong number and a moderator will look. Nothing you report changes a listing on its own, a person reads it first.
Who owns what is here
Our own writing, guides, stories, and the editorial parts of this site, belongs to us. Reviews and photos belong to whoever wrote or took them, who gives us permission to show them here.
The limits of all this
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that a listing is accurate, that a business is open, or that the site is available at any given moment, and we are not responsible for what happens between you and a business you found here.
Changes
These terms can change, and the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after that is how you accept the new version. See also our privacy policy.
