The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is the dark red brick Romanesque Revival cathedral of the Diocese of Lake Charles, on Bilbo Street. Built after the Great Fire of 1910 destroyed the earlier church, it holds Viennese stained glass and Carrara marble altars, and remains an active parish with Mass and confession.
