About The Pathology Laboratory
The Pathology Laboratory has been in business in Lake Charles for over 50 years and was founded by Dr. Lehrue Stevens. It provides anatomic pathology, including surgical pathology, cytology, fine needle aspirations and pap smear screening, along with full clinical lab testing, drug screens, DOT urine drug collection, glucose tolerance testing and semen analysis. The lab is accredited by The Joint Commission.
It serves hospitals, doctor's offices, nursing homes, employer groups and patients across the five-parish area, and its courier stops at more than 200 locations a day. Walk-ins are welcome for lab services. The main lab on West Bayou Pines Drive is open weekdays 7 to 5 and Saturday mornings, with patient parking off the Lake Street entrance.
