Sulphur is Calcasieu Parish's second city, just west of Lake Charles. It runs its own water, police and alerts, so a lot of what's on the other pages works differently here.

Utilities
Utility Billing
To start service, bring a photo ID and your lease or cash deed. Every new account pays a deposit or setup fee. No turn-ons after 3 PM. After hours, use the drop slot on the north side of the building.

Waste Management collects in Sulphur. Bulk items go out on your regular garbage day. Limbs can be at most 6 feet long and 4 inches thick.

Report a problem
Report potholes, drainage and other street problems online or to Maintenance. Streetlights go to Entergy, and traffic signals on state highways go to the state transportation department. Construction noise is allowed from 7 AM to 9 PM.
