City garbage pickup

The city supplies a 98-gallon cart and picks up once a week. Bag your garbage inside the cart. Put the cart out after 7 PM the night before or before 7 AM on pickup day, and bring it back in by 7 PM.

  • Twice a month

Bulk items, yard waste and appliances

Furniture, bagged yard waste and large appliances are picked up at least twice a month. Have them at the curb by 5:30 AM on pickup day. Tie brush in 4-foot lengths. Call ahead for an appliance: the refrigerant must be removed by a professional, it must be empty of food, and its doors must be off or taped shut.
